The music was the worst part. You have drawing skills, at least developing ones. Stick with it and continue to submit. Get some better tunes in the future though. Perhaps use audacity to take the edge off that hardcore NES sound. It really cut through my headphones something awful.

Otherwise excellent first Flash. It is much better than most newbie submissions I see.

Right away I notice a flaw, the flash is very tiny compared to most of the other submissions here. Perhaps if you think about building a second version, consider trying to expand the window a bit. At my screen resolution it is hard to see it. I'm at 1280 x 1024 on windows XP, so I am sure others may have my same issue with this.

"Very Good Work"

I'm not religious by nature but the message wasn't one of preaching. It was a clean message of humanity and humility. So even though there was the whole Christian theme, it still rang true as a universal message.

Good drawing skill, I like the technical side of what you did. The walk cycles need a small bit of work but other than that it works great. Also, nice lip sync work. Check out the flash titled Crotchless Chaps. The author comments on his user page about how he got that lip sync work in about half the standard time. Some numbers method involving single frame clips. It might help you out, I don't know.

Good music, even though I never listen to Switchfoot. It fits the movie very well. This is a great example of finding the meaning in the music. I like the part where the girl gives him a note.

10/10 and 5/5 Great work at representing something truely human.

Secondly, where did you learn to draw like that? This is one of the greatest things I have ever seen on any website, ever! I mean the 3D look to the cars was so over the top that I had to watch it twice.

You need to educate others on how to do this style of kickass end of the world flash work.

Good statement about nukes in that song. When interpreted that way it really makes you think about it.

Also, nice Flash work. Animation and lip sync were good. If you keep going you can develop this into a unique style like some of the great Newgrounds artists.

This is perfect animation. A mix of mystery and cool drawing skill. The ending where she becomes more detailed really blew it over the top. Must have taken you a long time to finish it. I know I can't get that kind of detail in less than a few days.

Dude this is some of the most inspiring artwork I have ever seen. It looks a bit like the flash art from Waltz With Bashir. The mood and lighting make it so angry and dark. Very cool shading on the guy when he was on the train. The lighting looked so cool.

I love your style, you should keep it up. The only thing that threw this movie off was the arm breaking and the chainsaw man. Who knows though, maybe I should watch the prequel first before commenting on that.

Oh and also, the walk cycles looked perfect. They made this piece go over the top as far as style is concerned. You should post a tutorial or something on how you got them to move so cleanly.

Art has been censored through history and Newgrounds obviously is host to all kinds of art. This is a perfect submission because it speaks with an original voice. The style was cool, the music was great, and it told a story. True inspiration.
